Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst you will be part of the DevOps team. Our DevOps team is responsible for the development and improvement of our Digital Insurance Platform. In this multidisciplinary, international team you will work together with, among others, a Solution Architect, a Scrum Master, a Product Owner, Testers, Developers and CI/CD Engineers. We work according to the Scrum process model in small teams. There is a lot of knowledge amongst the colleagues and we enjoy working together and sharing information.

As a Business Analyst you are the bridge between our internal business stakeholders (including Product Management) and the Scrum team. You have a coordinating role in which you ensure that the desired result is achieved. You are analytically strong and together with the team you do not shy away from a challenge. You constantly strive for improvement and optimal results. Thanks to your positive and curious attitude, we will be able to refine the insurance processes in our Digital Insurance Platform based on customer demand.

What you will be doing

• You will analyze the business processes of our customers and partners and translate them into our generic software;
• You will develop, together in multidisciplinary teams, the roadmap and determine the requirements for the correct delivery and connection of our customers' processes to the Digital Insurance Platform;
• You will define user stories and translate these into our international standards that match the architecture and vision of our Digital Insurance Platform;
• You will participate in software implementation projects;
• You will document requirements, configure, test, identify and solve problems;
• You will be involved in improving the software and you’ll design solutions to automate the processes.

Who you are

• You have completed a higher professional education / university degree (HBO/WO);
• You have at least 5 years’ in an insurance environment;
• You have excellent analytical skills and work well in a team;
• You preferably have knowledge of SOAP, XML and REST;
• You are able to speak and write both English and Dutch on a professional level
